What is American Drivers Ed?
American Drivers Ed is an online education provider offering Texas-approved Parent Taught Driver Education (PTDE) for teens and FMCSA-approved Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) for CDL applicants, including Hazmat and Class A courses.
Is your course approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)?
Yes, our Texas Parent-Taught Driver Education (PTDE) course is fully approved by TDLR and meets all state requirements.
What do I need to start the Parent Taught course?
You’ll need to order the PTDE packet from TDLR and then register for our course. Once you receive the packet, you can begin immediately.
